Confidentiality All information collected by Home and Garden Decor Inc., is kept confidential. We do not provide our mailing list to any outside organization. We take all the necessary security measures to protect your personal information.
Credit Card Payment Your credit card is charged at the time the order is placed. The payment information is sent to the merchant bank immediately for processing. If the credit card is not authorized, you will have the option to re-enter the credit card details or choose another payment method. Any applicable exchange rate is calculated by the credit card company e.g. Visa, Mastercard at the time the order is charged.
Other Payment Checks and money orders are payable to "Home and Garden Decor Inc." and are accepted in Canadian dollars only. Payment by check/money order will delay fulfillment of the order by about 3-4 days. We process your order as soon as the check/money order is received and cleared. There is a CDN $15.00 penalty charge for each check that is returned or not honoured. We also offer you the option to mail, phone or e-mail in your order.
Taxes The prices of our products exclude taxes of any kind. Residents of Ontario will incur 8% retail sales tax and 5% GST Tax on all items. A 13% HST tax will be applied to residents of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick. All other provinces will incur a 5% GST tax.
Delivery We do everything possible to ship in-stock products within 7-10 days. Orders are sent via Canada Post unless otherwise specified. All orders are insured in case of damage or loss. Please provide an address where the order may be delivered reliably during business hours, such as your office or home. We can only deliver to a street address. No P.O. Boxes please. The courier will not reroute the package once it has been shipped. Additional shipping charges apply to orders that are re-shipped due to an incorrect address.
Please allow 2 to 10 working days delivery time. All deliveries are subject to weather holds so that your selections are not damaged by extreme temperatures. If there is a delay in delivery, we will contact you. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs charges - please check with your local customs office.
Return Policy Every product we sell is backed by our 100% unconditional guarantee. If for any reason a product from this store does not meet your expectation, send it back to us within 30 days of delivery in an unused condition and in its original packaging via Insured Mail along with proof of purchase, and we will exchange or refund the purchase price plus applicable taxes. Please indicate your preference for an exchange or refund. Shipping charges are not refundable. Most exchanges and returns are processed within one week of receipt. An RMA number must be accompanied by the returned package. Please call customer service to obtain an RMA number before sending your shipment back.
HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY
HGD makes your Holiday Christmas shopping easy! All orders received before December 15, 2007 at 11:59 a.m. ET can be returned until January 15, 2008 for exchange, if available, or a refund. For orders made after December 15, 2007 at 11:59 a.m. ET, simply return the item within 30 days for exchange, if available, or a refund.
Damaged In the unlikely event that a product arrives to you damaged, please call or email our customer service and we will send a courier to your home to pick up the product at no extra cost to you. In the event that an order shipped is lost en route, we are required to wait for the claim to be processed which can take up to 8 weeks.
